I would like to setup a voice mail box that has the option of 1 for the caller to press and have it dial an external number, like a cell phone and I am having some difficulties figuring it out.

We are using StratagyES 4.705 with a CIX670. I have looked at similar posts about adding "@F-9-{phone Number},,F-F-H" and that does not seem to work. If it put that in the Transfer field box under the Menu tab for the voicemail box, it will just ring to the operator when pressing one.

Is there a list of variables somewhere that break apart the above code, or any other code that you can use instead of just putting in a number?

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Try just @f-9phonenumber-h
f-f-h was the old way on the stratagy's because the ports were classed as analogue.

I don't think you can not put tokens in the transfer field. You would have to create a new mailbox with that in the extension field and use the menu key to transfer to that mailbox.

your option "1" would need to be a mailbox with the token @f-9phonenumber-h in it

We use 8 to access an outside line. So would it be @f-8 or does it still need to be @f-9?

Thanks for everyone's reply. I have got this working. I had to make a slight change, and made it @f-8phonenumber,h instead of using the dashes.
