After reading the post Call Route 411 free service , this is something that we are interested in doing as well.

Some questions that I had were:

Does the Route Choice Table under Route Define refer to the Route Plan Number?

Currently under 521 LCR ROUTE PLAN DIGIT ANALYSIS ASSIGNMENT, we have the following: 1NXX, N11, and NXX. If I were to just add 411, would that conflict with the N11 statement?

It's been a while since I read how the LCR process actually analizes dialed digits, but I'm pretty sure it will take the best match first. In this case 411 would match first, then the N11 would match everything else.

In most cases you would not even need the 1NXX, N11, or NXX entries if everything is going out the same route plan number. It is more common when you want to seperate local and long distance or some other type of digit modification. Calls will not be denied if those are not there. I'm not saying you should remove them.

If you want to check to see if the digit anaisys is working, add 411 entry to a route plan that you haven't built. As soon as you dial 411 you will get a fast busy, but 611, etc should still work.

After you create a new route schedule, route choice, route definition, and digit modification index you should be all set.

I have run into a snag with this. I cannot seem to get it to dial an outside number like 1800GOOG411.

I have put the 411 and told it to use Route Plan Number 2. I do get the fast busy, and 611 works. 9, 411 was the number dialed.

In LCR Assignment, I added 411 in the 521 Digit Analysis Assignment, and told it to use Route Plan Number 2. Then in the Route Define, I create 2's across the board and told it Delete 3 digits and add Trailing Digits (8004664411) and still get a fast busy. The OLG matches what is used in Route Choice 1.

In section 520, LCR Local Route Assignment, we have our area code, then route plan 1. Do I need to create a new one here?

What step am I missing? Do I have to add 411 in Section 117 Public Dial Plan Analysis?

You should not need to add anything to prg 117 or prg 520, but don't forget about route schedule.
