There are many free SIP client Iphone apps out there. Has anyone setup an iphone to connect to an CIX 670 with an External IP LIPU card with any success?
If so, can you post?
If not, Can anyone help?

I haven't, but will be very interested in details of it!
What specific client are you looking at running? I will lend my input, to help troubleshoot it too.

I have 'WeePhone' app working on my Ipod touch and on one of my coustmers IPhones
just use the ext number for user name and auth id
and use your ip address for inbound and outbound proxy keep password blank ..
these are on MIPU with public ip, I havent tried to connect to Lipu
works nice

We have an LIPU with Firmware 39D, Not sure if this has anything to do with not being able to connect.
I am trying to use the app Media5-fone Free
I guess i can gamble the $5 and get WeePhone but I would like to see it work on my system first.

I couldn't get Weephone to work, using wifi
using CIX40 w GIPU8
sip ext 333
public ip 192.168.1.30 is ip card
??

Now have a public ip set up for card and this is my problem now
Hey there , have created a sip ext of my pabx (toshiba cix40) and our ip card public ip is 22x.xxx.xxx.xx , I have put this address I. Server and proxy and have also put the sip ext number of 333 in extension field and auth I'd , reset app and reload , I can call local phones on pabx internally over wifi but only don't get two way transmission , and also when dialing 0 I get a ring back tone , just another thing it also says logged in: no but I can still call extensions internally ,
Any help would be awesome as I would like to use this whilst overseasÂÂ
