I have an IVP8 REV 2 that is losing approximately a minute every an hour, which causes all of the scheduling to be off. Also, I have to trick it into the correct time by entering it two hours earlier than my time zone. Any suggestions.

No patches on FYI, already checked. Latest updates already on VM.

Make sure that the "set clock_sync” parameter is set to TRUE.

I don't think they put the patch on FYI. I think it is on the either the point release site or their FTP site. If the time changes in April instead of March, then the patch has not been applied. Also if the time keeps looks like the wrong time in admin and doesn't want to stay on the correct time, it may also need an update.

The last UAdmin included the updated for DST. I don't think VM manager came with it.

Also I think the clock sync only works with SMDI integration from what I read.

Not true. You're probably thinking of the "ksu_time" setting. The "clock_sync" setting allows the DOS software clock to sync with the hardware clock. It should always be set to true.

I maybe off here but I sense to remember that there were some IVP8's that had bad clock chips on them.

If that is the case, I need to know where to get it repaired

This particular VM won't take the upgrade, stating that it is newer than the upgrade file.
