By the way, do you happen to know how I would reprogram a system if I added in a third PDKU card? Would I need the programming manual for something like that, or do you know how complicated it is?

Yes you need manual(check link at top of page) or you might want to call a Toshiba dealer in your area and have them get you familar with the system.

I have a concern regarding your knowledge on telephonic terminology in conjunction with programming the DK-280.

You are asking the the right questions and have the correct deductive skills, but the manual is about a million pages thick and...

But since it is in you home and if you have an alternate means of communication just incase a programming error goes @#)^#&%#$%!!!.

However you do have the luxury of doing this at a casual speed and hopefully not doing this for the first time on the customers-dime. This is the way a lot of us learned various systems.

Good luck.

Thanks for the warning. I'd only proceed if I'm comfortable in doing so, realizing that there's a chance something could go wrong.

What I would like to do is learn, one way or another, how to become pretty proficient with this system, as it is in the home. Instead of asking how to do A or B, I'd like to actually be knowledgeable enough about it where I could take care of things myself. Maybe one day!

Thanks for the help, everybody.
