The Toshiba DKs are about as bullet proof as you can get and when a customer called and said that the system was down I was doubtful.
She plugged a lamp into the Toshiba AC socket and that worked, so I went out and pulled off the front cover. Something didn't look right on the top of the power supply.
With my needle nose pliers I pulled an electrocuted mouse out of the top of the power supply.
No mouse could get in if it were only the base cabinet, but when you put an expansion on, there is a little space at the top between the two cabinets and mice can squeeze through that opening.
We are leaving a screwdriver in the hole, you can just about never get a house mouse proofed when the owner has four dogs but no cats.
For those of you working on DKs with expansions in a house you might want to think about putting something chew proof in the holes between the cabinets.
Thanks, Bunnie
