I am having issues with caller id on my strata 670.

I have call id enabled on the phones, but don’t seem to be getting all of the information.
I am trying to determine if it’s a pbx or telco issue.

Inbound calls are showing c _ _ _ _ P_ _ _ _ KS (or state they are calling from)
CN:9135551111

We are not getting the user name or company name consistently. Some area codes seem to display correctly.

Is there something I can check on the pbx for this before I call my telco provider?

The CIX will pass what ever the Telco is providing. Some carriers send only the number. I would think that if some calls are displaying name and number correctly, then the CIX is configured correctly. I know that when I call from my cell phone, only the number is displayed with "CELL PHONE FL".

What kind of lines do you have? Are these copper trunks or PRI?

I have PRI lines going into the PBX. I am thinking it is a carrier issue, but wanted to verify before I start that call. There goes a few hours of my life!
