Installed eManager V5.20B12B and it will not open.
I've tried everything; opening port 80, port 443, disabling win firewall, disabling antivirus firewall, uninstalled, reinstalled. Just don't know what else to do.

It installs fine, no errors, no problems.
But when I try to open I get "Internett explorer cannot display the webpage". And when I diagnose the connection error it says "The device or resource (cp114) is not set up to accept connections on port "The World Wide Web service (HTTP)".

I've checked to make sure all my appropriate services are running, pop up blocker is turned off too.

Am I missing a service, port, connection of some sort? HELP!

I figured it out with some help.
Seems that Win 7's UAC was the culprit!
Turned it off, rebooted, and everything worked!

Please explain "UAC" to us old phone guys that have been thrust into the world of network geekdom.....

I loaded it on my WIN 7 laptop and it works great!

UAC is User Account Control.. its the little window that shows up when running certain apps or installing apps that require admin privileges. When disabled makes certain apps work better by not delaying the system for permission.
