I am trying to update firmware on MIPU.
I keep geeting the following error:
CTX Error: (0x2018ffff) Facility=2 while getting update file.
Anyone have an idea why I'm getting this? It will not let me upgrade the MIPU

What firmware is currently on the MIPU?
Are you doing it from Network Emanager or from the SD Card?

fIRMWARE IS MIPU01_24DA200
I tired from both network emanager and SD Card.
I got the same error doing both.

Mipu Has to be on local lan, you should assign an empty slot as an mipu with a local ip address plug it in there upgrade and then move back to original slot

Without knowing what the error means, I thinktelcom1.net would likely be have the answer. If the MIPU is outside the firewall, it can not download the firmware from either the PC running emamanger or the SD card (on the processor), which is likely on the internal network behind the firewall.
I have used an external FTP site, accessable through the Internet, to update the MIPU at least once, and IP phones a few times.

We've got the same issue. In our case, the MIPU was in use. As soon it was free, the update were applied with no problems.
