We have a Toshiba CTX-100. We have had it for more than five years. We use eManager to manage users, manage mailboxes, and move extensions around our office. We have recently added three new users, using existing extensions. We can see that the names display on the display phones just fine. When we attempt to "dial-in" as a customer would as an external call, the auto attendent answers the phone, we choose option 1, look up by name, if we enter any of the three new names we get a message: "No names match your entry." If we enter an existing user; we can get the auto attendent to find that extension. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why? Thanks in advance.

What kind of voicemail are you using?

Since you said you can manage the mailboxes from eManager, i'm going to guess that it's a MAS

Check the Name1 and Name2 fields on the mailbox config page for each of the mailboxes.

You could delete those mailboxes and recreate them and see if that does not clear up your problem, but after you try drhoser's advice.

Checking Name1 and Name2 did the trick. I must have skipped this step in the setup process, or did not remember doing this step while setting up new users in the past.

Thank you very much.
