Hello All!

Strange problem... Our CTX100 is connected to our fw/router in a dmz. I can connect with Emanager to the cpu board just fine. I can ping it just fine. The routing seems to be fine. The IES32 is a different story. I cannot ping or connect to it UNLESS I physically connect a laptop to the same subnet (vlan) as the cpu and IES boards. I can then use the Strategy ES admin tool to connect. The only thing I can think of the would cause this sort of behavior is that there is no default ip gateway defined inside the IES32 itself. The cpu board has all that... I cannot see such a setting in the IES32 card via Emanager (Command Ref 801) or in the ES admin tool. Does anyone know if my hunch is right and/or have ideas on what to try and where to look to fix? :bang:

Thanks!
ACL

You have to connect to the iES32 via Net Meeting and look at the Network settings in the NT server.

You cannot get there with Emanager

Thanks for the tip!. Is there a procedure in the forum on how to do that or a technical doc you can point me to?

Thanks all... I figured it out and there was no default gateway defined for tcp/ip properties in the embedded OS. We are good now....

Cheers!
