We have a little CTX28 that we can no longer connect with thru the network port. We tried with a crossover as always into the laptop, on the RJ45 the connectivity light flashes fron green to amber and we show no connectivity on the laptop. Then we came out of the CTX into the network then tried again to connect, same flashing on the CTX...tried every combination of crossover/straight thru cable same result... Thru the phone we changed to another IP just to make sure there was no conflict, rebooted, etc. Any thoughts other than maybe the RJ45 on the processor has gone bad?

You can always use the SLT port to dial into the remote modem locally onsite. It will be a bit slower but at least you will be able to connect. Otherwise the GETS is probably stuffed and will need replacing if you can get hold of one now as the CTX28 is quite old.

Thanks Carl. The local dial up will work just fine.
