I'm stumped on this one. Have a CIX40 installed for a customer, and I'm not sure what's different about this install, but for some reason the last number redial button on the phone doesn't seem to remember all the digits of the last number dialed.

I can call out and then hang up, and press redial and it only seems to remember the first 3 digits of the number I dialed.

if I pick a trunk and dial directly (10 digit dialing in my area) it only seems to remember the area code and not the whole number. If I dial 9 to get a trunk through LCR, it only remembers the 9+the first 2 digits of the area code.

One time it actually redialed the first 6 digits, so it's not totally consistent, but it also never remembers the entire number.

Any suggestion folks?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the Public Numbering Plan P117 to see what you have set for the number of digits for your local diaing plan.
eg. 0 = 10 or x = 8

I am unsure of your local dialling codes as I am in Australia and it is different in each country.

It's 10-digit dialing here , and I've got it set for NXX=10, 1NXX=11, N11=3. That's one of the first things I always set when programming a new system since it's in the first couple rows down off the System heading.

I'm not sure what I have done different on this one. I visited another customer today that also has a CIX40 I've installed in the past two months, and their redial works fine.

Check the analog trunk assignments. Is Immediate Cut through enabled?

That fixed it! Thanks so much! I remember enabling that some time ago in order to make CF-External work.

Why would that affect the redial function? Weird...

Thanks again for the help.
