We have a CIX100 (CTX670 upgraded, perhaps?) with a standard T1 configuration. We do much of our own programming, usually simple stuff.
I'm trying to provide a way for remote employees to call out through our PBX, which is what I assume DISA can do. In eManager, I have the following:
Trunk->Service, Program 311 DISA Security Code: DISA: Enabled DISA Code: a 5-digit number. All other settings left alone.
Trunk->DID, program 309: Set a DID number to DISA for 05,06,07 Audio types.
When I dial the DID, it rings once, then gives DISA dialtone. I can dial extensions and into the VM system. I'd like to be able to get an outside line and dial out, but dialing 9 for an outside doesn't seem to work consistently.
It seems that cell phones have a LOT of trouble getting through via this DISA line. Is there another setting somewhere that could be blocking this feature?
Is there a way to get DTMF tones "heard" better? Are cell phones just problematic when it comes to getting DISA working?
