Internet --- Dsl router --- VPN device -- IPT2020-sd
I have a CIX670 system. It has a public static IP address. All the other IPT phones are working fine. I have about 5 IPT202-sd deployed around.
This one phone is wierd though.
I've plugged it into the vpn device and assigned it a static and dhcp addresses. I've also plugged the phone into the dsl router and assigned it a static and dhcp address.
in all 4 instances, it knocked the internet off line.
Anyone ever seen this?

I have also seen this with netopia. The only solution was to but the DSL into bridge mode and add another router.
In one office they had 5 IP address from thier provider and only 4 devices (including Phones) so I was able to get them up without a router.
I believe that Toshiba is aware of this issue.
