Anyone had luck in sending SMTP via the LUCA? I have tried with and without SMTP authentication.
I can send via my mail server via telnet test.
As far as logging goes.. I found a reference in the install manual under SMTP : "You can get additional information about the error message in the V log file of the system." ...however I cannot find this log file within linux. Anyone know where to go find SMTP logs to find out what message the mail server is responding with?
Thanks in advance.
Sam

Put a monitor and keyboard on the LUCA.
Login and get to the menu. 6) system monitor 3) monitor system logs
Leave a message in a mailbox that UM is setup on. Watch log see if you see the email being sent.

If you are running the latest service pack on the LUCA you are able to view the log files from Utilities/Logs then click on the V0104.log file (todays date)
