We recently upgraded to a new Strata phone system and are using the Stratagy ES with MAS on Windows XP. I have read where Toshiba includes caller id for voicemails. We have users with Unified Messaging as well as those with DK 3220 phones and the caller id for a voicemail is always "unknown". We have a PRI, and when calls come in the caller id is showing up on the phone displays. How do we set it up so it comes into the voicemail? Thanks!

This is sometimes done on purpose with mail servers that require authentication. Its easier to tell your mail server to allow [email protected] than it is to tell it to allow an ever changing caller id [email protected].

That would be my next question, so since I did this we aren't getting any unified messaging emails. But I can't find where to look to see a log on why they aren't going through. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Run Stratagy Trace or check the logs on your mail server.

Thanks RRino.. found the problem. When the person setup the paramaters they didn't put in a host name for the smtp server. So my mail server was flat out rejecting them... it wasn't showing up in my mail server logs, but I found it in Trace. Thanks for your help everyone!
