I have the main voice mail phone in a locked room and the fellow who has the key won't be back for 1 week.

I can use his password to check VMs but I don't want to check it 10 times a day for a week..

Can I get the status LEDs on other phones to indicate a VM in the main VM box?

(I don't want the how, unless it's cosher, I'm just asking *if* I should try.)

EDIT: Ahhh I didn't see the copy message option.. That seems to be a reasonable work around.. plus we can't lose any VMs while he's gone.

The copy message will work just fine but depending on your amount of messages for the week, could start filling up the space. Just keep an eye on the systems available space and delete when necessary.

you could setup a notification template to notify another extn and then turn off the lights when read.

Set the original MB to (take MSG NO) but set the copy MSG to the new MB. That way the original box will not fill up but MSGs will be sent to the new MB. When they come back set take MSG to yes and copy to NO.
