Good morning.
The viscous cycle of uninstall /reinstall with emanager has started and hoping you can help.

I'm a responsible for making the necessary changes to the software for our phone & voice mail system here at work...... There was a problem about a month ago where I could not log into emanager then all of a sudden it let me in using the same credentials I had tried X amount of times before. Then we made a request to have the co. that originally installed the system come in and make some changes and they could not get in. At that time emanager was ripped out and reinstalled.
It's now a month later and I am trying to get back in and am having the same issue. (I've verified that I am using the correct username and password.)
I have ripped out and reinstalled without a successful login.

What makes emanager so "finicky"?
What else can be done to try and get into this software?

I would think that a clean install of NetworkeManager and the default info would let you in but you would need to either set up the account with the correct IP address and access through the network or directly connect a crossover cable to the CIX but you still have to have the correct IP address.

Try recycling the power on the CTX.

I ran across a scenerio similar to this and found out that another machine on the network was using the switches IP address. Try this:

Ping the ip address of the CTX/CIX, you can run an extended ping with the ping x.x.x.x -t command if you have a reply, unplug your connection from the CIX's ethernet port and verify the connection times out. If not you may have another client with the same ip address on your network. Of course if you directly connect with a cross-over cable this would not be a resolution.
