We have a DK 280 system and we have a T1 with Paetec and we would like to go to a PRI T1. What do we need to do to accomplish this? We are changing to a PRI because we need to have outgoing caller ID, what are the programs I need to change in DKADMIN?
Thanks

First you are going to need a PRI card. Then don't even think of putting in a PRI unless your system is Rel.4
Then call a Toshiba Tech.

Thats right. You will need software 4.3 in the DK424.

We have REL 3. Based on the feedback don't have the right equipment to handle a PRI T1, right? On our bills from Paetec it say's PRI T1 but I am thinking that we have a reg T1 but have been paying for a PRI T1.
We have a Kentrox T-Serv 2, does that have the ability to send caller ID out?
Thanks

I thought the DK 280 wouldn't support PRI no matter what ??

A 280 can support PRI and would have to be upgraded to rel 4.3. The processor cards will have to be RCTU3 in order to be upgraded via chip firmware.

You would need two adjacent slots for the PRi. Maybe taking out dial tone cards or maybe you have a T-1 (RDTU) card in there now.

The T-1 card is a RDTU and the PRI card is a RPTU. Which do you have?
