CTX100 OHP 6000 Message-on-Hold. The on hold music is garbled, faint and the volume is not consistent. I checked the output of the MOH unit and it sounded good using a test speaker. The Background music sounds great, via the 3020 sets. I also changed out the RCOU/RCOS cards with no change. I also changed out the processor, no change. They are using a Verizon T-1 with a Adtran channel bank for dial tone. Any one run into this yet? Thanks in advance.

Place your butt set on the trunk as you put a call on hold. Does the MOH sound okay on the butt set?

I'll give that a try tomorrow. Is there anything else in the 100 that would affect the sound quality besides the processor and Rcou cards? Maybe the cab? Thanks Meister..

There is no "pot" on the ACTU3 or ACTU2 but there is on the ACTU1.

Which one do you have??????

If it is an ACTU1, the pot could be turned down very low requiring the output of the 6000 to be very high and the Toshiba could be clamping the heck out of the signal making it distorted.

If you have an ACTU2 or 3, this does not apply.

Hey Bunnie,

A ACTU2, so no pot. I do have to turn the vol up to around 1/2 to 3/4 on the 6000 to get out over the network.
That's why I suspect the Fractional T-1 and Channel bank, maybe there is an adjustment in the Adtran that is messing with the signal. Maybe I need to dig up an ACTU1?
