I have installed a CIX670 R3 with PRI and an IVP8 Release 2. I am using SMDI integration. I have updated the VM software to the latest version. My customer is reporting that when listening to messages, if the phones ring it drops the connection and she has to log back in to hear the message. On the flip side, she reports that sometimes callers leaving messages get cut off, and I think it's for the same reason. Why would ringing calls affect the ability of the IVP8 to playback or record calls? I'n not sure where the problem is, and it does not happen every time, so it's hard to duplicate. I have heard saved messages that were zapped, so I believe her.

This was an issue some techs had reported but was fixed with a software upgrade. What software version on the IVP 8 are you on?
