We have a "campus" of three buildings. All of them are connected via a fiber optic cable, and the CTX processor is in one of them, where the phone calls get routed out. Within a few months we'll be switching over to a fiber optic service (Optimum Lightpath)
How could we go about setting the system up so that when you call 911, they would get the actual location of the phone and not the service address?
Is this a function within the phone system, or is this done with the help of the carrier?
Thanks!

I believe its both. Make sure the county 911 center also supports e911.
