I have a client with a dk40i and they want to be able to transfer calls to a sales person on their cell phone. Is there any way to do this so that after the call is transfered it is not still useing a line in the office?
thanks

Via voice mail or physically doing it? A flash key with transfer on the line is the physical way.

There has to be a service on the phone line to allow you to use a hook flash to transfer a caller and disconnect.

the best way is to use centrex lines, otherwise you will be using 2 CO lines per transfer. with the centrex lines the call ends up connected through the providers switch and frees up the CO in the client switch.
