I am new to the MAS and have a sight that has to reboot the MAS every Tuesday. The screen is black when they come in and V/M is inoperative. Is there a schedule that needs to be turned off? This isn't an isolated incident, as I know of at least two others with the same problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, JR

There are a few causes for this issue. FYI has some solutions to it if you're a dealer. If you're not a dealer, I would suggest bringing one in as they have access to tech support and software patches. Also, there is an SES Restart patch you'll want to run if you haven't already. In any event, you should never disable the maintenance schedule as it will do harm in the long run. There is a reason it's there.

Phonemeister, Thanks for the help. We are dealers. But where do you find this patch on FYI. Toshiba tech wants us to reimage the machine, and that was done previously with no affect. After the patch is installed do we do a reboot too? Thanks, Jamie

The patch is on the dealer site under software for voice processing. It's the SES Restart patch for the MAS. Did you refer to the Web Knowledge Base also on FYI? There are articles that describes how to make Windows auto login and one that tells you how to delete and re-create the persistence files for the scheduling which might help in your situation. Finally, there's tech support since you are a dealer.

phonemeister, Thanks again. We'll check your direction out. Toshiba tech hasn't been very helpful, unless we are lucky enough to get through t one of the two support guys that really seem to know their stuff. That is why I check this sight. I really respect the knowledge base here. Jamie

As mentioned, deleting persitence files and recreating the schedule usually works for me with the iES. I haven't had the same problem on a MAS before.
