Okay - so I have a small business with a Toshiba DK40 phone system - circa 1996. It's very likely that it's never been updated software-wise. The closest Toshiba dealer is over an hour away and I'm in need of what seems like may be some simple programming - but I don't know. Here's what I do know:
I have four system-original DKT2010-SD phones and one DKT-3220-SD attendant console (with the extra 'flexible' buttons (I've been studying the manuals!!)
The Telco phone system box is in great shape - it appears to have an s-video-looking interface plug along with 8 numbered buttons on the face of the system hard drive (for lack of a better understanding of what that actually is, but I'm guessing!).
I have access to the admin box at ext 999. I have user manuals and system admin manuals for the phones and user manuals for Contact-DK - the voice mail system.
I've figured out the messaging and voice mailbox assignments, etc - what I need still is to figure out how to "map" phones to the flexible buttons on the console so that when a DND is on or an extension busy, then the attendant console flexible LED will indicate that.
Hoping this can be done via the attendant console phone without having to plug into the box downstairs. Two of the four extension phones are already 'mapped' to the attendant console - would like to map the other two. Insight?
TIA!

Lets try this again. Program 39 will program your flex keys. Your programming port is 005.

Alvaphonepro,
Thanks for your reply
I have no programming manuals so not sure how to 'program' via the attendant console - if that's even possible. Familiar with the MODE key under the LCD and the VM programming through the admin ext. only thus far
Assuming (hoping) I can program through the attendant console phone, where can I find the manual which gives me details? I'd search for it but I don't even know what it's called...

On the top of the page. Download the manual. We cant post actual programming procedures. Mode key wont do much for you. You can program at any extension. My bad..
