Active Software: AR2.22 MH214.00
2 questions.
1) Is there any way to get this system to integrate with our Exchange / Computers like the CIX and the Call Manager does? Via Upgrade or anything..
2) Is there any pertinint upgrades for that software i should be aware of that i should have?
Thanks.

The Call managers on the desktops require that a server be installed, called Net Server. This software commmunicates with the CTX/CIX and allows desktop software to with with the PBX. There is software/ hardware/ licensing involved.
I am not sure what kind of Exchange integration you would be looking for. With the advanced voicemail systems, the IES16, IES32, or the MAS (Media Application Server) you can send voicemail messages and even faxes to an email address. This would use an exchange server as just an SMTP relay.
The software 22.22 MH214 is a bit old. I don't even remeber if daylight saving time adjustment is supported on that version. The highest version your processor will support is 3.10 MK063. Technically ver 2.X is called a CTX, and after upgrading to 3.XX the system is refered to as a CIX. The latest version is actually 5.20 but upgrading would require replacing the processor card.
The major enhancment is with the VoIP enhancements. The 3.XX supports a newer IP card called the LIPU.

The netserver / netphone or call manager will give you screen pop into outlook and call out from outlook with the current system software version.
There is not a lot of point upgrading the processor unless you are wanting to run IP handsets or SiP trunks on the system, then you will need the R5.20 MTxxx version software and a new CPU. Don't forget if you upgrade the CPU it will also require additional licenses as they are non-transferable from the old CPU.
