Is there a way in E-Manager to differentiate between the 100 and 100-S? Also, is there a way to see the history of licenses applied to the system? I ask because we have a vendor charging us for additional licenses on what should be a CTX100 (we currently have 32). Either the original installer snuck in a 100-S on us or my current vendor is trying to sell us licenses that we don’t need and that he didn’t install. Thanks in advance. Lou

A CIX 100-S has 16 licenss and requires you to purchase 8 at a a time and I believe they are more expensive then a regular port license. A CIX 100 has 32 licenses to start.

I think once you get a CIX 100S to 32 licenses then the licensing is the same for both versions.

The processor board would have an S on next to the processor model, but looking at emanager you could not tell. When the dealer goes to license the system, it will only take a license if they select the correct model, which I found out when tryng to create a key for a CIX100S.

The phone system will not keep track of when licensing is applied, but Toshiba does keep track of everything. You would not normally be able to contact Toshiba drectly about licensing, but maybe you could to verify the licenses you purchased where needed and applied.

Thank you for your reply. I will have my trusted local Toshiba tech verify the licensing for me. As you said, it is almost impossible to get in touch with Toshiba if you are not authorized. Appreciate the feedback. Lou
