Hi, I have a client/clients who have the LVMU in their CIX systems. I've noticed a trend that they are constantly giving me issues and phone calls that voice mails are locked up and I have to reboot the card. I've talked to Tech Support who say, oh its a loop issue. I've checked and I see no looping of 990 or 991 in any of the tabs. What else can I look for or does it seem like a faulty card or maybe a product issue. Not sure if I'm the only person with this problem, but I have multiple systems that have the same issue, not as frequent as some of the others (this client has to reboot the card about 3 times a week, which is unacceptable).
It doesn't seem to be an issue with Phantoms as well.

The current specs of this clients system is a CIX 100 with an LVMU1A

The next time one locks up, go onsite and connect locally and look at the port status. You may be able to narrow the issue down to one mailbox. Quite honestly it does sound like a looping issue. Could also be a disconnect issue.

Thanks RRino, the problem I have with this client is he's their IT guy and he reboots it each time, so its been hard to check the port status. I'll give it a whirl and post my findings if it repeats. Again, thanks a bunch!

Here in Canada, we did have some lockup issues on LVMU's, affecting a fairly small percentage of units. Took Toshiba in Tokyo a while to find the cause. Affected LVMU's were replaced by Toshiba. Seemed like it appeared with the newer "half sized" LVMU cards. Dealer should have some knowledge of the issue.
