Sorry, my post made better sense in my head while I was writting it. What I ment was, the new cordless phones work in DKT 2000 mode, and if you use them on a new system, you stilll have to put the DP5000 series phones into DKT 2000 series mode if you connect them together at the same extesnion.
But also of course the new cordless phones are the DKT2404-CT not the DKT2304-CT, but it still kind of applies.
