Hi,

I'm new here and I have an issue with Network eManager on Windows 7 when I try to backup a CIX on the SD card.

First of all, I installed eManager on a Virtual installation of Windows XP (XP mode) and everything was working fine except the backup . I tried to play with the network interface configuration to set the VM to use directly the ethernet port on the laptop to solve the problem but later I founded that it caused some other trouble. So, I decided to install eManager directly on Windows 7.

Now, Network eManager is installed on the Laptop and everything is working fine except the backup on the SD card is still not working. I explain: When I open Maintenance -> SM/SD Card, it take about 10 minutes to open. When it's loaded, I do a Forced Format and nothing happen. Same thing if I try to start the backup.

I tried ASP.NET version as v2.0.500727 and v4.0.30319 and both don't work.

On my computer, eManager is a trusted web site. I also use iExplorer 8 with the lasts updates.

Does anybody have an idea to solve this issue? I would be happy if I can make it works.

What size of SD card are you using?

I tried with a 128MB and a 256MB SD card. But normaly use 1GB SD or microSD card because they are easier to find.

Try turning off the windows firewall, or any other firewall installed.

I turned off the firewall and it's now working. But I will have to find a way to unblock eManager and keep the firewall On but I'll d it myself.
