I ran into a CTX28 with no LAN card. Anyone want to point me in the right direction of programming trunk DIT destination from the phone? I remember the general programming sequence from a phone to do some minor changes but couldn't find it while flipping through a manual. A point of reference would be great.

Advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Use Emanager and use the dial up option and have it dial the CTX modem

DIt is program 310. Put in the port number of the trunk, eg.010301. On the CTX28, the trunks are fixed port numbers and I don't remember what it they are. You can go to prog 300 and find out what equipment number the line is assigned to.

On the CTX28 or CIX40 the lines 1-3 are 010201 up to 010203

I programmed my 1st CTX-28 completely by the telephone interface becasue the company did not buy a LAN card with the system. Later, on this board, I was told that I could have connected the modem to the 1 analog port on the CTX and just dial #19.

I have used that a few times since them. It is still sometimes easier to make quick changes by knowing some of the program numbers though the phone programing.

Thanks! I didn't even think about connecting the SLT and dialing #19.

I ended up doing it through the phone with your help.
