We are running a DK424i r4.3.

I am pretty new to the DK, but am intuitive (at least I think I am). I have the programming manual, as well as access to the DKAdmin software.

Currently, all extensions are tagged with our primary number instead of their DID number. I would like to change this for SOME of the extensions. I have verified with our PRI carrier that this feature is enabled on their side. I have worked with them and they have verified that no matter what, the call is hitting their device already tagged with our main number. As far as I understand, we are using program *71-*73 and Program 72 for inbound DID. I have tested using *68-1 *68-2 *69-1 *69-2 to modify the Outbound Caller ID number presentation. No matter what I do, I am still only sending the main number.

Am I missing something? Should I be working with a different program? Any guidance would be appreciated!

In 68-1 LED's 1 and 2 should be on
in 68-2 change the default number for your trunk group to something, say 2125551212

call your cell phone, if the CLID does not come up as 2125551212 then the telco is not allowing the change.

Telco should be NI2.

We were already setup with NI2. \

I'm not sure what changed (unless the vendor did find something was still not changed), but after setting the DID information for one of the ports in program *09, adding the prefix information in program *69-2, and then changing the index value in program *69-1 on the specific port that the DID information was set for in program *09 from 00 (default) to the index number associated with the appropriate prefix set in program *69-2, outbound DID presentation is now working.

Thanks to all who replied!

Again, here are the steps I used to "assign" outbound DID number presentation.
1. Find the port of the user's phone I wanted to change (Example: port 087)
2. Go in to program *09 and assign port 087 with the DID number (Example: 3287)
3. Go in to program *69-2 and assign index 01 with data type 1 and set the prefix as the remaining portion of the phone number: 847766
4. Go in to program *69-1 and assign the port 087 from index 00 to index 01.
