Hey everyone, I am new to this forum.
I could use your help on this matter. I have searched the forum and other sites for this problem, but haven't found anything about it.
I have a windows 7 64 bit machine, been trying to install NeM but am having a hard time getting to the login page. Everything installs ok and didnt get any message. I try to get to localhost\emanager but everytime I tell it to go to the page, it force closes the page. Am I missing anything here? I have all the prereqs installed. I tried wiping the install but to no luck.
or should I just do this in xp-mode?
Thanks in advance for your help.

It's probably the pop-up blocker, turn it off in IE.

I have tried this but to no avail. Even in firefox and chrome. I hit enter in the address bar, and then a split second later, it closes the browser, doesnt even give it a chance to load any content.

also make sure any toolbars in IE are not doing pop up blocking as well. best thing to do is disable any toolbar addins and try again.

I am just going to echo what everyone else has said, and say it is a popup blocker. I have seen this many times and so far 100% it was some software blocking popup windows. Google tolbar was a bit tricky because you could only add the current site as an exception. I just operned up https://localhost and added that as the exception to popups if you don't want to disable it completely.

I had the same problem and found that it was the popup blocker in my google toolbar. Once I disabled it all has been fine.
