Trying to make a 3rd party IVR system (NISC) call out on the CIX lines. Inbound is working fine. I set up a PRI ILG and OLG 25 as ISDN standard. PRI as National ISDN with 8 B channels. Set up a trunk access code of 825 to grab PRI group 25. To get to the IVR menu the other vendor set up an ext of 1000. Set up an analog Ext to forward out by dialing 91000. Set up LCR to grab trunk group 25 when it sees 1000. Set up public number plan for 1000 to be 4. So when you call the analog Ext 863 it goes straight to IVR menu like it suppose to. However the IVR needs to make calls out for courtesy calls. The IVR is dialing 9 then phone number. Calls dropping. I see the digits come across the D Channel it shows a disconnect. IVR vendor says that CIX is dropping. It looks like the IVR is dropping in the D Channel capture. I also set up ILG DID digits to be 1 and set up a DID of 9 to dialing digits 9. Any ideas on how to make the IVR make outbound calls?

Did you set up PRI group 25 as Tie lines? Try making a trunk access code for the outbound trunks on the CIX. The IVR will have to dial two trunk access codes. One for accessing the PRI tie line and one for accessing the outbound trunks on the CIX.

Yes tried it as Tie as well. The PRI Card is plugged directly into the IVR system. The IVR is acting as the Carrier. Not sure why IVR would have to dial 825 then 9 then phone number.

Yes that is correct that they are trying to dial out on the CIX lines, but I have a T-1 Crossover cable from IVR system to the PRI card. So you saying that they jump on the IVR span, dial 825 then dial 9 and the phone number, as well as set up the OLG as TIE

The OLG and ILG should both be Tie. The IVR will have to grab the tie lines and then dial 9 (to grab a trunk on the CIX) and the phone number. The IVR doesn't need to dial 825 because that's the code the CIX uses to grab the Tie lines.
