Hello All,
Is there a way to force access to the emergency services if all my trunks are busy?. For example i dial 999 and all trunks are busy i would like the CIX to cut off one of the trunks and dial 999 no i can do this on other vendors but cant seem to get my CIX to do it
Cheers Chris

If using analogue lines, you could assign one trunk to be 999 only through call routing, then take that trunk, and an ordinary trunk, through a line sharing device such as Viking LSR-1 or LSD-2.
There is then always 1 free trunk on the system for 999 calls, the line sharer then seizes the shared line and gains priority for the emergency call.
