Well, every now and then a job comes around that makes up for things. I had to install a Legend system in to a new "Gentlemens Club". Damn, if I didn't have to make my way through the ladies dressing room to get to the switch room. Took me nearly a month of on site visits and follow ups to get those 2 dozen phones programmed. I must be losing it. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

I don't install any longer but when I did the Old Folks homes didn't set well with me...it was mainly the smell and the old (I mean really old) folks who would walk around inch by inch and every one of thoese places stunk, it smelled like they all peeded on the floor and themselves. Couldn't wait to get out of em. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

I forgot about the one job I helped my dad's company with, also in a funeral home. Needless to say, I was pretty freaked out just being there.

Yep death is pretty unsettling! I used to work in Brooklyn,Ny. Me and another tech used to work Kings County Hospital (central booking for all deaths in brooklyn) Well the main UG and switch room was uder the pathology building. All 10 or so buildings over 3 city blocks are connected by service tunnels. you got a golf cart to go from building to building. You always knew whenever they brought in a floater(week old drowning victim) The smell in those tunnels!
