I can now connect to the GVPH with my modem but I get the response back that `The remote password does not match the system`. I have reset the GVPH by removing the card and removing the battery jumper and that has worked but I cannot now access the Vm by dialing the VM DN, I have to forward a phone to VM and then dial the phones DN. The password I have is `S*******` (rest of password replaced by stars), first character is a capital, rest are lowercase. Going in through the Admin Mailbox I can access the DN mailbox's to change them, if I forward a DN to the VM directory number it gives the default greeting and lights the message light on that DN. But pressing the message button the system connects to VM then drops the call. Aaaagh.
Have you tried turning it off and on again!!!

Since you've defaulted the GVPH, you'll have to reprogram it to match what's programmed in the CIX40.

Sorry, been on leave for a few days. I realize I will have to program the Vm again but I can't log into the GVPH with the UADMIN 2.1 software, I get the `Remote password is not recognized by the system` message even though the card is defaulted.
Have you tried turning it off and on again!!!

Anyone have a copy of VM Manager 1.11, so I can see if I can get in with that. Cheers John

Even though you have removed jumper and defaulted system. I have found Stratagy system config does not get defaulted therefore the password will not have defaulted.
Cheers Chris

Does that mean I have to get the customer to stump up for a new GVPH card or is there an alternative solution!

You will need to get a Toshiba dealer to call Toshiba and go through the process to get the password reset.

I could log in remotely and change the password for you to whatever you want.

Hey John
PM me the remote details including the complete phone number and new password.
It would be a whole lot easier if the call is answered by the VM/AA instead of having to be transferred to it especially on an international call.
Regards Carl
