When called from outside line or when calling from intercom, the VM will not answer. It will answer after a reboot and work for awhile, then after some time it quits and need to reboot to get it to work again. Whenever it quits working I notice the 4th (last) port is lit up solid.

Also, I just made a change to the ringing for these guys, thats when this problem started. It was programmed to ring ext. 10 then after 4 rings it would go to VM to the main greeting. They wanted to get rid of the 4 rings and just ring the AA, answers after 1 ring. So I took off all CO's ringing at ext. 10 and programmed all CO's to now ring the first port of VM,which is programmed to answer after 1 ring. Like I said, it works fine for awhile, then just quits answering ... Did I do something wrong to cause this, or does it sound like the VM is going bad. Kind of a coincidence it just started not answering after I made the program change. Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated...

You don't want it ringing the first port of the voice mail.

Remove that.

In program 81 set day ringing for voicemail:

[Spkr] 900 # [turn on LEDs for CO lines] [Hold]

[Spkr] # # [Hold]

You probably have all vm ports ring in program 81 which is why it's acting like this.
