I'm setting up a new system with SIP DID and would like your input as how best to implement the following...
The customer has 4 companies, 4 DIDs, 4 auto-attendant greetings. They're used to square key operation.
I have assigned 6 PhDNs to the phones (301-306), labeled on the desi as 'Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, etc'.
The PhDNs are in a hunt group (pilot 300). Pilot No. CF set to system call forward pattern 2.
The DIDs are pointed to Hunt Group 300.
I have created 4 auto-attendant mailboxes (990, 980, 970 and 960).
I assigned the DID VMID (309, FB11) for the DID to be its corresponding auto-atnd mailbox (990,980, etc).
My expectation is a call will ring into the phones on 'line 1' or 'line 2', etc and if no answer, go to the respective auto-attendant greeting.
The problem I am having is the call forward never kicks in, just rings forever.
I have the SCF pattern 2 setup to go 250 (vm) in all modes.
I'm not sure if I've missed something or the system won't do what I want it to....

It may be a silly question, but did you activate SCF 2?

SCF 2 is active (no answer).
Its a serial hunt group. Software level is 5.20.

The call forwarding works properly if I set the PhDN to SCP patern 2. And direct the DID to the first member of the hunt group, 301 instead of the pilot.
Problem is that if the first PhDN is busy, it hunts to the next as it should, but if that one doesn't answer it jumps to the third then forth, etc instead of forwarding to voicemail.
I think I'm going to ditch this idea and just put all phones into a Multiple Call Group. Point the DID's to the MCG. However, they'll lose the ability to simply put a call on hold so someone else can easily pick it up.
The lack of Park buttons on Toshiba systems is a real PIA...

I don't knoe why the hunt group would not work. I have done things simular in the past.
If you do go the MCG route, you can still simulate line keys by using GCO keys.
