I done that but when I dial in with the new number it does not go thru? I set to dialing digits in the DIT tab like the lines but do the digits have to be assigned somewhere else. I also put in the vm #'s
Thanks

No, If I call in it just rings but not at the attendant, does not reach or option menu. When I look at the phone keys for a phone under station assignment, it only shows 5 lines. Do I need to assign a line to another button or would it pick it up on its own... Thanks

It won't automatically populate on the phones. If you want the line to appear, you have to create it on the phones. If all the phones are the same, program on extension key and copy that one button to all the other phones.
Then select that line and see if you get dialtone. If not, then there could be a connecion issue.

You do have it plugged in as the white/orange pair of the bottom port of the daughterboard card on your dialtone card, right?
Or, the white/orange pair of the bottom port of a separate card, right?
In programming under stations, at each station you should see Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4, Line 5, Line 6 and when you press the button on the phone get dial tone.

not sure about white/orange comb. On our system a card labeled S103 with places to plug in and 2 lines per plug. I came from box with a plug with wire in center 2 slots in plug Then I set trunk assignments as the other trunks are.....have not check to make sure that a wire is attached to the punch bar for the destination that I assigned it..will do that. Thanks for all the info/help

I have checked and not really found what is off. Like I said I have set each phone so it shows a line 6 but there is no dial tone....will keep looking. The trunk assignmnet shows where the line goes in the card I think.
