I agree with that (what newtecky said about CID). I'm guessing the CNIS doesn't match with the BTN and the provider is blocking it, when the call is released before the call is connected. If the call is completed when the transferring party stays on the line, it displays the main BTN, therefore allowing the carrier to complete the call. Have you contacted the carrier to see if they can change those settings?
