I am a technician looking to help out a customer with a few issues on their system. They want to get a new phone system, but would like some pressing issues resolved until they can make an informed decision on which system would best fit their needs. Their (now previous) vendor flaked out on them and they came to me for help.
It's a dealership. One of their issues is that they cannot get into the general mailbox for the service department. No one knows the password. I don't know if they know which mailbox it is. And it's full.
The second issue is that some of the phones cannot pickup anything on line 1. I don't know about any of the other lines.
A solution would be awesome.. But, if someone has a manual, that would be very helpful.

The occupation in my profile was exactly what I was doing at the time I signed up to this site. A bowling shoe giver-outer guy. I worked (and still do) at a bowling alley. It's a lot of fun and a good way to meet a lot of people. I updated my profile.
I will see if I can find the VM and get a model number.
The problem with the voice mail for the service department is that no one knows the password. The two previous persons that knew the password are no longer with the company. I believe one passed away and the other was fired. I now wonder if they even have a password to get in and admin the vm.

IF, that is IF they have not changed the password for the administrator mailbox, you can change any other mailbox.
A Toshiba dealer can always buy a "token" and have Toshiba modem into the voicemail and default the administrator password that the Toshiba dealer can't do.
Some computer gurus can take out the flash memory cards, if it has one, and search trough it and find it. Never done that, not a computer guru.
