I have a school that is saying calls are randomly being dropped. I have tried, but could never duplicate the problem myself. I checked all the basic things, such as alarm system on lines, etc. I even tried replacing the 4 port co board, and problem is still happening. According to employees, problem happens more on lines 1 and 4. Co's are bought in using a t-1 and channel bank.

If they have DKT2000 series phones, it could be a worn hookswitch which is common on those models.

Make sure that you are getting somewhere around 45-48 VDC across tip and ring. I have seen 25 VDC across tip and ring from a channel bank causing dropped calls.

Swap 1/4 with 2/3 and see if the problem follows the line(s) or stays on the CO position. I also agree with phonemeister on the HS
