How do I install a license for additional station ports on a CTX100? I believe it comes licensed for 32 total ports -- station and trunk.
If I am not using currently equipped trunk ports, if I take them out of software configuration, will it free up the ports, or do I have to remove the hardware from the system?
Do ports the phone system uses to connect to a Stratagy IPV8 voicemail count as licensed ports?
Is there a way to view currently licensed capacity thru eManager?
If I purchanse a LIC-4 can I install it myself via eManager (or some other way)?
Is there a license available for more than 4 ports at a time?
Thanks for your help!

The CIX 100 does come with 32 ports, unless you have an "S" processor..

Licenses have to be ordered though a dealer. Trunk ports or station ports that are not programmed do not use a license. The hardware does not use a license untl you program it with an extension or a trunk number. Each voicemial port does use a license.

If your software and emanager is current enough ( I beleive 4.0 or higher) then you can look at current licenses in the system and how many are used. Older software only shows total licenses in the system.

Basic licenses come in groups of 4 ports, so you can order 1 for 4 ports, 2 licenses for 8 ports, etc..
