I have a 2010s phone with a 20 button attached DSS on port 000. When I try to program the keys on the DSS, it modifies the 20 button DSS attached to port 002. Its like the two are tied together. Programming either one changes the other.

Yes, problem is when I program 1, it changes the other

If you only have one add on, just * out all the keys on the second.
Also, it will only allow a dss for a station to appear on one key, so if #005 was on key 5 of the second module, and you put #005 on the 1st, it would blank the key on the second.

Verify in prog. 04 that you are programing the correct port.
