If you dial into the system from the outside, pressing the * button will prompt the iES to request you to enter a mailbox number.

If I dial the iES from an extension, it asks to entry your security code. I press #, it goes to the default announcement and then I press * to get the prompt enter your mailbox number.

What is the fastest way to get to the "enter your security code" for a mailbox from a DKT on the inside?

You answered your own question in paragraph #2 above........It's asking you for you security code to log into your mailbox

You can also just enter 0# and it will ask you to enter your user ID after telling you the security code is invalid, not really any easier though.

I guess what I was thinking in my brain didn't fully make all the way out. wink

I don't want to login to my mailbox per se, I want to log into another mailbox from an internal extension. What I was hoping for was something similar to dialing in from the outside. Dial the iES extension, press *, enter the mailbox number and then your security code.

Thanks guys!

Yes that is correct...now enter the mailbox number you want to log into. It will ask for the security code.

That's about as shortcut as it gets!
