Triad 2 system took a lightning hit and took out the old 1480 caller ID unit. Installed new 7480 unit, but cant get TRAID to display caller ID info. Dstributor says new unit uses the same interface cable so I did not buy a new one, but I wonder if Vodavi changed the cable and not the CAT number. I tested the unit on all 3 serial ports and with a number of different baud rates. Any help would be appreciated, but please copy replies directly to my e-mail at [email protected]. Thanks!

Caller ID arrives @ 2400 baud in most cases. It sounds like you set the baud rate in the KSU, the external unit needs to be set up also to the same rate.
