What kind of call forwarding are we talking about (station,or off premises)

And what system? With the part number you gave I'm guessing you have a 616EX

The manual says that you must have the ability in system programming to use call forwarding. If your phone is programmed to allow for call forwarding, then you simply pick up the handset or press on/off then press the fwd/dnd button and then dial the extension number where you want to forward.

What do you mean by whole number, whole extension number or whole outside telephone number? The manual doesnt say anything about forwarding to an outside telephone number only to an extension number. So my guess is that you can only forward your phone to another extension.

To remove forwarding press the on/off button or pick up handset, press the fwd/dnd button, then dial your extension number. Meaning if your phone is extension 10, you would go to extension 10, press on/off, press fwd/dnd, then dial 10 (your extension).

If you are trying to foward a call outside of the system you will have to get call forwarding on your co lines and use the FLASH key, you will also have to program your Flash timing per line, it is 2 sec. by default.
As RCA has posted the call fowarding is only for station to station.
