Does anyone know how to reinitialize a vodavi 1428? I have heard remove the Eprom, and there is a set up dip switches SW1 but I don't know the sequence.

Figured it out....I had to pull all the chips off the motherboard...switch the jumper....put all of them back...power it on....power it off....switch the jumper.....system is finally reinitialized.... <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by moabrunner:

Our Tech called Vodavi who had him short pins 2 and 4 on a chip in the lower right of the KSU. It drained the capacitor of the backup juice and totally initialized the entire system. I was going to shoot you a pic of the chip but see that you solved the problem.

Short pins 2 and 4 on u18 for 30 seconds. This discharges the supercap.
